Seth's 3rd Season of Soccer

We have continued Seth in soccer for another season and he loves it more than ever! He loves to score goals and is pretty good at doing so :). Since he isn't 5 yet, he plays on and against team(s) where there are LOTS of beginners. He definitely needs a challenge and will often steal the ball from his own teammates to score a goal (we have to work on the whole "team" thing still.) It is a lot of fun to go to the games and watch our little Sethie. Season four starts in just a couple of weeks. :)

Wade's First Shot at Basketball

Like many boys, Wade loves sports. He loves to watch, talk and PLAY everything! We have focused a lot on soccer and have loved every minute of it, but do like to venture off and try other sports, at least once a year, as well. Wade is finally old enough to play basketball and, we found out, he LOVES it!

We were a little nervous at what basketball would be like since it is a sport that requires more than just basic skills (ie: running), but were pleasantly surprised by how well Wade and his friends picked up the sport. With some great coaching and practicing we had another undefeated season in a different sport! We will definitely be revisiting basketball next winter--lots of fun!
