Beach Trip!

We had the glorious opportunity to escape the heat, once again, with some of our greatest friends and visit the cool and sunny Southern California Coast! We had such a blast! The weather and company was fantastic :).

Jess and her little fam also joined us for the beginning of the trip. We went to dinner to celebrate Logan's 2nd b-day


and spent the next day at "Sea World."




While on the coast, the boys LOVED the sandy beaches and cool water.


They could have spent days running up and down the water from the waves.

Even Trent got in on the fun and could not get enough of the freedom to crawl, explore and play wherever he pleased.


We were also smart enough ;) to bring some babysitters from our ward to help out and allow for date night to be almost every night!!

Although we were worn out,
my only complaint was that the trip wasn't long enough. We will have to make sure next year's is :).

4th of July

We LOVE to spend the 4th in Utah. It is always the perfect escape from the heat in AZ. We also love to be with our family as much as possible. So, even though we had just gotten back from up North, we made the drive again for a fantastic Independence Day celebration with Matt's family.

We enjoyed cousins, carnivals, yummy food, fireworks, cool evenings and good conversation. Well worth the trip!

You'll Never Believe That...

we are having a GIRL!!!! AAAAHHHHHHH!! I am soooooo excited and can barely believe it myself. I was bouncing off the walls of my OB's office when he told me it was a girl. I am probably up there with his "top 5 crazy moms-to-be." I couldn't contain myself or my excitement.

Since hearing the fantastically exciting news I have been floating on Cloud 9. It feels too good to be true--A GIRL! Matt is thrilled as well. He could not believe it either. We have gotten so used to boys that we couldn't even imagine anything else.

I have already been shopping (I can't help myself!) and have big plans for pink, princess, ballerina, makeup and dress-ups to fill my days ahead! Yeah, I can't wait :)!
