Seth Rides a Bike

Seth is my stubborn one. He doesn't do anything unless HE wants to do it. I can take away any and all of his privileges, threaten him with his life and ground him to his room and he won't bat an eye. He will do whatever thing I want him to do (be good at church, help his brother, take a shower, etc) if it is in HIS best interest and never really any other time.

Seth is 5 and has friends who have been riding their bikes without training wheels for years now. Seth got a bike with training wheels for his third birthday and has shown little, if any interest in riding it for the past 2 1/2 years. He has been happy riding his razor scooter alongside his best buddy, Weston, as he rides his two-wheeler.

Out of nowhere, Seth decided he wanted to ride a bike sans training wheels. It, literally, took Matt 5 minutes to teach Seth to ride. With age on his side, Seth picked it up no problem! He LOVES riding his bike! It is too bad he has waited this long to want to learn, but he is making up for lost time--spending good portions of his day riding up and down the street . Good job, Sethie, we are glad you decided to do it!
