Disneyland

It is no secret that the Roper's LOVE Disneyland!  It's such a fun place to go and everyone in my whole family LOVES it--there aren't many places we can say that about, right?  My sister's and I planned a trip to the happiest place on Earth for early Summer.  Little did we know, we had booked our trip for the opening of "Cars Land."  Yep, the opening of a new land at Disneyland!  We didn't know and when we found out, it was too late to change our plans so we prepared for the worst and hoped for the best.

When were getting ready to walk over to Disneyland from our hotel, Friday morning, Jess called frantically telling me we better get over here and get our tickets before they reach capacity and won't let us in.  YIKES!  Capacity!?!?  This was going to be a LLLOOOONNNGGG day!  We rushed over and had pre-decided to by season passes again, went ahead with our purchase and "made" it through the gate.

Jess wanted to go straight to "Car's Land" which was amazing, but so packed you couldn't even walk--more like shuffle along while your face was buried in the back of the person in front of you.  We quickly decided to head back over to the Disney side and basically walked onto every ride!  Yep, walked on!  I guess the opening of the new land, coupled with "blacked out" pass holders made for a VERY non-crowded day which made for a happy Rasmussen clan! :)

We did make it back over to "Car's Land" later on when it had toned down a bit and it was SO fun!

The next 2 days were filled with lots of family fun!  Cousins galore, yummy food and treats, catching up and enjoying each other's company!  We all had a blast!

Some extra fun things that took place on this particular trip were:

Casen's first trip (first ride "Heimlich's Chew Chew Train"):

He was such a angel the entire time and LOVED "being held" all day in the carrier.

Trent was tall enough to go on anything for 40 inches!!

So we took him on "Tower of Terror"... (we are mean ;))

The little guy was SO cute--acted so big, but was scared half to death!  Jess and I about died laughing at his expression while we were free falling on the ride :).  Bless his heart...he said he would go on it again with us!

Seth was tall enough for "Indiana Jones!!" (46inches):

It was definitely one of my favorite trips to D-land of all time!  Love you all SO much!!
