Moving Day #5

We have lived in Arizona for almost 9 years.  We LOVE it here and feel very blessed that we found a neighborhood and ward that we want to stay in forever with the first house we moved into.  A LOT has happened during these 9 years.  Dental school graduation, new jobs, buying dental practices, dozens of church callings, new and old friends, preschool graduations, elementary school beginnings, learning to ride bikes, swimming lessons, sports of every kind, 3 marathons and 4 Ragnars, but most importantly 5 BABIES!

Since our family has grown, our need for roomier homes has grown as well.  My husband has a pretty good sense for the real estate market and we have been amazingly blessed in each decision we have made to move our family.  We have stayed in the same neighborhood, but lived in 4 houses and now have finally built our dream home (house #5.)

We have been building for over a year and have loved it.  Our friend built our house so we feel we have been able to work hand in hand to build a home that turned out better than we could ever imagine!  We tried to stay as true to our "Utah" roots as possible (without getting into trouble with the HOA) and feel like we really succeeded.  We even have 2 pine tree's in the backyard :).

I was also very blessed to have my friend, Dawn, decorate my home.  She is extremely talented and Matt and I have loved this past year we have spent shopping with Dawn to get everything ready for our home. We also decided that she would decorate the house and have a "big reveal" for me--totally "Extreme Home Makeover" style.  I was absolutely blown away at the results!  She is amazing!
