Halloween

We love Halloween in the Roper house! This one was a lot of fun! It was more like a Halloween weekend (or week if you throw in Seth's birthday party and classroom parties)...

Matt and I went to a costume party that we love to attend every year. Costumes are mandatory and it is fun to see what costumes some people come up with. We were proud of our costumes this year...80's rockstars as a tribute to our favorite broadway show in NY--"Rock of Ages."

Our kids were:

Darth Vader (Wade) and a skeleton (Seth)

A dinosaur

A strawberry (for her strawberry colored hair, of course)

Since Halloween fell on a Sunday this year, our ward was smart and did the "Trunk or Treat" on Saturday. Our kids didn't even know Halloween wasn't that day.

Lots of candy, decorated cars and great food made for a fantastic night. My chili won for being the "sweetest!"

Following that event, we went to another Halloween party where the kids ate MORE candy, enjoyed hayrides and ran around the backyard.

Another great year of Halloween celebrations!!
