Since it was a "no party" year we decided to celebrate the October/November birthday's (Jess, Seth, Matt and Wade) at Disneyland. We had an absolute blast! We researched the "best" time to go to Disneyland (least crowded) and basically walked onto every ride! SOOOO fun!
Notice anyone missing from this pic below? Look hard, you'll get it.....yep, no TRENT! He was off running around without any of us even knowing. The sad part was this was the SECOND time this happened that day!
He is such an independent little stinker. He doesn't even get scared, he just walks around shaking hands and kissing babies ;). Such a little politician, he'll make friends with a tree if it looks appealing enough :). Luckily it was so uncrowded that we found him easily and quickly the second time.
The first time was a lot scarier. We were away from him about 10 minutes and it was the longest and worst ten minutes of my life! We were over at "Pirates" and he had snuck away. I finally found him with 2 cast members (it took 2 of them to manage him :)) near "Splash Mountain." I have never been so relieved. We will NOT be taking him to another amusement park without a leash!
Since we were celebrating so many birthday's, I reserved a spot at "Mickey's Birthday Party." We drank lemonade, frosted cookies and sang songs with Mickey and Minnie Mouse. The kids loved it!
Trent thought the party was for him :). He went up to stand with Mickey and Minnie to sing "Happy Birthday" and kept talking about "his birthday party" all day long! He still talks about it :). Such a funny kid!
We had such a great time--perfect way to celebrate a bday!
