We LOVE this little boy so much! He brings so much joy to our home! He is smiling and cooing up a storm. We are (finally!) on a schedule and everyone (especially me) is happy about it.
I keep trying to figure out why this baby feels different from my others, but he does--in a good way. I feel like I am living in the moment more and appreciating the little things differently then I did with my other two. All I know is that I can't get enough of Trent!
The other day, I was walking in the mall and he was asleep in the stroller and I was, actually, aching to hold him--for him to be in my arms and close to me. Is that silly? I just want to hold and love him all day :).Some other things I am REALLY enjoying this time around are:
The Moby Wrap (thanks Mandi)
This is the coolest wrap that allows me to strap Trent to my body while freeing my arms and hands to take care of everything else! We like to say the moby wrap brings Trent to his happy place--he falls alseep within seconds of being wrapped up.

The Angel MonitorThis is a PERFECT monitor for crazy :) mom's like me. I have been known to stay up most of the night watching my newborn sleep in fear that he would stop breathing and I wouldn't know it. Or, I have also checked on my sleeping babies a dozen times, just to put my hand on their belly to make sure everything is okay. I, also, have the hardest time moving my baby out of our room for the same fear. Well, this invention has changed it all for me!!!
It is a monitor with a sensor pad you place under the crib mattress. The pad is so sensitive, it will sense the slightest movement and if it feels no movment for 20 seconds, an alarm goes off. How cool is that? I have never slept better with a newborn! I HIGHLY recommend this.
My nursery
It still isn't finished, but it IS a work in progress. I LOVE my crib bedding and the color of the walls. Here is a pic (I promise to post a pic of the nursery when it is finished too):

MAM binky'sI thought I would try the "Soothie" brand binky and totally regret it. My poor Trent, went several weeks with restless sleep and an oblivious mommy. I was oblivious to the fact that he couldn't hold that binky in and he REALLY likes to suck (as most babies do!) When I, finally, figured it out--with the help from Kristy (THANKS!!)--he has been happily sucking away (sleeping in his crib and happily riding in the car) ever since!
Spanx
So this is one for me, but definitely a WONDERFUL invention. All mom's know that one of the (if not THE) worst part of having a baby is a post partum body--not fitting into your old clothes, stetchy/ flabby skin, etc. With all the hormones we already have to deal with, it isn't fun to be on a diet too. Well, Spanx has helped me (of course, it is all worth it, but still...a flabby belly is the worst!)
If you don't know what Spanx are, it is basically a modern day corset--squeezing in your middle area (tummy, love handles, butt.) With Spanx, I have been able to fit into my pants quicker and, at least, appear to have a flatter tummy and smaller bottom then I really do. Spanx are the best!
So, those are some of my favorites this time around. I LOVE all the new things they come up with and feel very spoiled to be having babies during this day and age :)!

Trenton just gets cuter & sweeter every day! I can't believe he is already 2 months! What a little sweetheart!
I LOVE that post! That little wrappy thing looks so cool. And Im definitely getting spanx when I have another one. Trent is so cute, he looks so much like Seth.
Love ya! Give the boys a squeeze,
Linsey
Your nursery is so cute! I love it. How fun that you got your bedding. The wall color is so cute too. I'm glad that you loved the angel monitor. I am definitely getting one for our next baby. Are all moms as paranoid as we are? Tanner is taking a nap right now and I just went in to make sure he's still breathing. You'd think I'd be over it by now! We can't wait to come see you guys. We move down on the 15th and we'll have to come up as soon as we get settled. Trent is darling!
2 months already!?! It does go by so fast...my baby is almost ONE! I love your Moby wrap. I wish I would have had one of those, it looks so cozy and comfortable for you and baby. I love that even teeny tiny Jen wears Spanx...they are fabulous! Congrats on getting everyone on a schedule, I still haven't figured that one out. Oh and I LOVE the bedding!
2 months already? We can't wait to meet little Trent! I think you will be surprised by how much you enjoy your third child (not that you don't love your first two)! It's amazing how being able to relax more puts you at ease! Glad to hear you're all doing well!
Yes, Yes. Love the Spanx!
It's sure a good feeling to be able to relax a little more with each kid. Love the photos of Trent. Can't believe he's growing so fast!
Love that bedding! And the colors for the nursery are fantastic!
Can you send me an email so I have your email address? mine's erin@twomoreseconds.com
I had a baby almost two years ago and I think that Spanx would be good for me!! I have seen it online and wondered about it - I'm glad to hear good things!
That monitor sounds wonderful! I will definitely have to look into that when we have our next kiddo.
Trent is adorable! I can see why you would want to hold him all the time. I think that the closer we get done to having kids (at least in my case) the more I want to have my babies stay babies.
The Moby wrap is awesome I'll be getting Kenzie one of those when the time comes. I really like you nursery color scheme very original and very cool.
Spanx rule. I love when people post their fun baby stuff! When do I see you at the gym next?
I love it! I love most of those things too. I just made a "moby wrap" the other day. I can't wait to use it! That was such a fun post. You always have such good ideas.
Okay, I have always wondered about the Spanx, but was always too embarassed to buy them. I will definitely have to go out and get me one.
Isn't it crazy how fast they grow up. He is so darling and I love his little nursery.
You don't even need spanx! Look how skinny you are already - I am jealous! However, I will definately be getting some soon. Trent is so adorable, he makes me excited to have another - he totally looks like Wade and Seth!
Thanks for your advice about 3 boys - I could use it!
Love ya, Lindsay
Treny Tron is such a little angel and I love how he is puffing out:)I am glad he is such a healthy a happy little guy. We love him so much already!
I can't wait to use your Mobi and Angel monitor...thanks in advance:) SPANX hurt, but they are worth the pain to get you through the dreaded postpartum time, but you don't even need them anymore. You look way too skinny for just having a baby!
Hi aunt Jen!
Trent is SO cute.
He looks like seth! Your such a great mom.
Love,
Jocey
